He was selected by the inaugural IPL champions at a base price of twenty lakh rupees. However, his voyage to that moment was characterised by emotional turmoil and uncertainty on the auction stage.

When Dhruv Jurel name was first mentioned during the auction process, no one bid on him. As the minutes passed, he began receiving calls from home, and his mind was preoccupied with a multitude of thoughts.
