India’s young left-arm spinner N Shree Charani continues to top the bowling rankings. With a career-best tally of 804 points, Charani has bolstered her rank. Her current score also places her at the top of the women’s T20I bowling rankings by any Indian in history, beating Mithali Raj’s previous record of 780 points achieved in 2011. Charani is only an additional two points away from making Megan Schutt’s all-time record of 806 points back in 2018.
There was also a shake-up among the India batting group. After a stellar Asia Cup, Shafali Verma moved up one spot to sixth in the T20I batting rankings.
